Some of the PT-ers in the Toowoomba Region have decided to get together on 28 June 2009 and would like to invite anyone who is interested to come along. This is just an informal social get-together - all welcome.

8.45am meet for 9.15am Departure from Hungry Jacks cnr Ruthven and Alderley Sts, Twba.
Travel out to Glengallen Homestead near Allora (roughly 70kms) for morning tea and/or a look through the historic homestead. Admission into the homestead is $10 per person or $8 if we get a group of 15 or more. For more information on Glengallan see www.glengallan.org.au/

Depart Glengallan around 11.30 for Rudd's Pub at Nobby for lunch. Nobby is 35kms south of Toowoomba - roughly half way between Toowoomba and Warwick.

If you are interested in coming along, please let me know numbers so I can book a table for lunch at the pub. If you cant make the morning trip, feel free to join us at Nobby for lunch but I'll still need to know numbers.

Sunny Qld where the sun always shines and a lot of people want to retire up there.
When we retire up there I was planning on getting rid of the winter clothes to wear summer clothes all year round.

Just got home from Toowoomba (we live about 20kms out)and didnt see Red Back BUT we did see Pink Panther on Alderley Street at around 10.45am - we flashed and waved, but got no response. A little bit too much birthday celebrating me thinks

My biggest apologies Jelly Bean - mustn't have recognised you outside of the carpark!

Went out with friends for lunch - was a large convention of the GT Owners Club - and all their magnificent (noisy) vehicles - at the place we went to. (And a few Wedgetails, but not in the same group.) So then my friends were very curious about the PT Cruisers Club. After telling them what I knew, one piped up and asked if there was a Rav 4 club!!

We've got a RAV4 too, and Graeme says whenever we go out in the PT, the Regal or even on the bike people always smile, wave, flash, give you the thumbs up whatever. You can pull up next to another RAV at the lights and they dont even give you a second glance.
