Hi all

I collected my silver '04 Classic on Saturday and there is no question - I am in love!

The proof -
* I walk around with a big silly grin on my face
* I go all gooie-eyed when I see the PT
* Today I was counting down the hours til work finished so I could again drive the PT
* I spend my spare time planning our outings

Is this normal?

Anyways, I hope to meet you all on Sunday's run. I will be the one asking a million questions about PTs and showing the obvious signs of the lovestruck!

As far as I can see from your symptoms all seems to be normal. Well except one thing of concern I didn't see the words BLING or MODIFIED anywhere. Oh yeah only had it for a day or 2. The day after your first cruise should see that change.

Oh, you're normal, nothing of what you have said hasn't happened to every one of us here and the thing is, it doesn't change with time.
So watch out for the bling bug, when it gets you it gets you good. :sign7:

Congratulations on your purchase, you chose a good colour in silver but then it doesn't matter what colour you have, it's a PT so you got a winner.

concure with all the above syptoms are NORMAL .. take some chrome & bling and a long CRUISE ,.. may not help but sure is fun !!!

What makes you think that there's anything wrong?? I don't see any abnormal behaviour here...

Don't feel pressured that you 'have to' add any bling... But feel free to add any and as much as you like! lol They look just as great with and without it...

Never hesitate to ask on the Forums if you have any problems or want to track something (BLING) down. Hope to see you on Sunday's cruise, but there'll be plenty to look at and talk about.

Whew, everything is all normal then. I was worried there for a bit, particularly when I bought all new Meguiars cleaning stuff and actually used the waterless duster because ... oh heaven ... the PT was DUSTY!

As for BLING ... I have spent the last week and a half on the internet looking at what could be!

Doesn't this thread bring back the memories........ Those first weeks with our PT's..............fussing over them, talking incesently about them, spending endless hours on the internet looking for all things chrome etc..........hang on, it never changes, those feelings stay with you and even when you no longer have your PT you still feel for it.

I need to stop now, I'm scareing myself..........and probably you!

Have to say I'm still besotted.

Parked the car up the road a bit while gardening (avoiding stone chips from the mower) ... went out to front of house ... saw vehicle up road and thought - oh, that's a nice car ... and realised it was mine!!!

Pink Panther you'll still be besotted in 10 yrs time if you still have it. Believe me, even after nearly 7 yrs I walk around ours every time it comes out of the shed just to look at it. Even at 5am of a morning when it's still dark, it still shines even then.

Me too. I know what you mean. I walk into the garage every morning and say "Good morning you beautiful girl". and when I get to work I say "Thanks Jelly Bean have a great day". Oh yes, I am a bit odd but thats what PTs do to some people.

Yeah I say "good day gorgeous," BUT sometimes I have to wonder..................whether I'm referring to the PT or myself.
