Here are the updated details for the Brisbane Valley (Esk) Multicultural Festival and BBQ lunch

The PTCDU had planned to have Christmas in July combined with the Brisbane Valley Multi Cultural Festival in Esk including participation in the street parade for the PTs,then a spit roast at Bundys property , plus a stay over for those who wanted to camp out.

Now that we have found out that Mopar Sunday will be on Sunday 26th , we have changed the agenda for the Saturday to allow those wanting to support Leo Mullers at that event.(As most of us do!)

So , come and join us for an early cruise to Esk on Saturday 26th July and join the street parade (this will be video-ed for the year book), see some of the multi cultural displays , etc - then a $3.00 per head BBQ lunch (sponsored by the PTCDU) at "Busker" from 12-00 noon until 3-00pm - which will allow everyone to get back home and prepare for Mopar Sunday on the following day -if you are going.(Please let us know ASAP so we can advise the Festival Organisers of the numbers for the parade - and so we can cater for the lunch)

The meeting point for those leaving from Brisbane/Gold Coast will be McDonalds Goodna 7-00am for breakfast ,depart 7-45 am SHARP for Esk - approx 1 hour drive, as we have to be available to muster for the street parade at 9-15am in Esk and we will need a little time to get settled before muster time.
The Street Parade commences at 9-30am .. this will be video-ed for the year book.
We will stay on for the Official Opening and photo shoot at 10-00 and would like to take in some of the festival before supporting the Esk Heritage Railway Opening.

Following this , we will travel the 6kms to "Busker" on the outskirts of Esk where we will have a $3-00 per head BBQ lunch (BYO cold drinks) sponsored by the PTCDU along with a few raffles and a bit of fun (from approx 12-00 till 3-00pm).
For those who haven't been to "Busker" before , this is the Bundys 6.5 acre rural property where the last Christmas Party camp over was held and has plenty of parking , a septic tank toilet ,plenty of rain and bore water and an all weather BBQ area but has a limited supply of drinking water (carted from Brisbane). Hot coffee and tea can be supplied and there are other cooking facilities if you do not want a BBQ. Let me know if you have any special needs for the day and we will do the best to accomodate you.
There will be a couple of PTs staying overnight and anyone else who wishes to do so would be most welcome - these are some of the people who are going to Mopar Sunday on the following day.( you will need to advise very early if you intend staying over )

This is going to be a great day out with a wood fired BBQ lunch shared with your PT friends and families .. please advise numbers in your PT when you respond!
