Shannons Show and Shine, the 2nd annual event, will be on again this year at Advocate Park - Coffs Harbour.

This is another very successful combined gathering that QLD & Northern NSW PTs' have, here on the Mid North Coast of NSW

sorry for the late reply, we weren't sure if anyone was going down for this one and we felt we'd rather come down with a group than on our own.
So Storm Cruiser Kym and Kevin and C Breeze Merrilyn only (Don unable to go) have now booked a Beach Villa at the Park Beach Holiday Park (same place as last year).

We were going to come up friday but all our usual places were full . seems there is a firemans convention on all week , but most are leaving Saturday morning, so we booked Pacific towers , the high rise near Park beach , had a great meal at the bowling club last time, highly recommended , then won it back on the pokies

Hi all, I spoke with Rob - Fire Fly the other night and we discussed what we could do with the rest of our weekend in Coffs.
If anyone is interested, after we have booked in at our accommodation and unpacked the cars we could go for a short sight seeing tour of Coffs Harbour led by Rob and Lyn. (If weather is raining we'll not worry about it) Back to the park and time to clean the cars and put them to bed. Saturday night we talked about everyone contributing some $$ and we get some pizza in or alternatively BYO bar-b at one of the camp kitchens. If you think you're fit enough maybe a game of tennis after tea. Should be good for a few laughs. If we decide on the Bar-B then the tour of Coffs can end/stop by at the shopping centre. Rob and Lyn can put out the invitation to any NSW members to come along and join us for either both the cruise and tea or just one or the other.
Sunday, meet out front of park as we did last year to travel to the car show together. Time TBA. Sunday night Rob and Lyn have a great restaurant picked out for those who would like to go out for tea.
Monday's departure time will need to be discussed as to whether we check out early or enjoy a sleep in or maybe for some have a last look around coffs and then we all head off around 10ish. Remember we will pick up an hour this side of the border due to daylight savings.
All this at present, are just suggestions, if you could reply this with your ideas or even your objections please do so. Sorry this is a bit last minute, but I've had a pretty harrowing week with my boy moving out of home and anyway the rest of you slack mob don't seem to be organising anything. LOL LOL :laughing4:

A number of ninemsn readers wrote in to tell of their close encounters with the monster hailstones, which varied from marble-size to as big as tennis balls."

Well we Queenslanders just got out of Coffs in time!! Above is a report on NineMSN about the storms that we have been getting this afternoon and this evening.
We hope Rob and Lyn in Coffs and all other PTCDU members both down south and here in Qld are okay and escaped any damage from the storms.
So far so good for us in our part of the Sunshine Coast.
